Information

Would you like to be part of a successful Danish legal-tech company that, with its vision of bringing justice to air passengers, has helped over 400,000 people obtain compensation?

We give people access to justice!

Flyhjælp is looking for a Danish-speaking legal case worker to work with litigation and enforcement (retssager). We are looking for a full-time colleague. Flyhjælp is a highly specialized debt-collection agency who helps air passengers collect their claims for compensation and refund from the airlines according to EU Regulation 261/2004.

We specialize in the Nordic jurisdictions under our brands:

FLYHJÆLP | FLYGHJÄLP | FLYHJELP | LENTOAPU | REFUNDMORE

… and we have our very own litigation department that handles cases in the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish courts. We take cases all the way to the Supreme court or the European Court of Justice if necessary.

Your mission

  • Preparation of pleadings in court cases
  • Settlement negotiations with the airlines
  • Contact with air passengers about what they have experienced
  • Contact with the courts regarding our cases
  • Assessing whether verdicts should be appealed and making appeals
  • Contact with external partners, including external law firms

In the litigation department you will also work with optimizing our work processes for example by investigating and implementing new technologies that can help us.

Furthermore, the litigation department handles the enforcement of our verdicts via the enforcement courts.

This role is not intended for qualified lawyers or those with significant legal experience. It is better suited to those seeking an administrative or support role with a legal focus.

Your profile

Flyhjælp is seeking a new colleague to join our litigation department to process legal claims and handle cases in accordance with EU Regulation 261/2004. The role focuses on preparing case documents, corresponding with courts and clients, and ensuring each case is handled efficiently,

Flyhjælp is looking for someone, who:

  • have an interest in law or administrative processes. No law degree required, but legal studies or administrative experience is a plus
  • have strong analytical and written skills, and emotional intelligence
  • speak and write Danish at a native or professional level – any other Nordic language is a plus!
  • speak and write English
  • are not afraid to explore new technologies
  • prefer freedom under responsibility
  • are interested in work life balance
  • want to grow and have fun
  • have a can-do attitude, which is motivating for colleagues and air passengers
  • and don’t mind that we may be a little wacky at times

Why us?

At Flyhjælp, we work with a clear purpose: giving people access to justice.

Air passenger rights exist to protect travellers - but in reality, many never claim what they’re entitled to. The process can feel complex, time consuming, and difficult to navigate. We bridge that gap by making it swift, easy and transparent.

Each case represents a real situation where something didn’t go as planned. Your work helps ensure that travellers are treated fairly and that their rights are upheld in a way that is both efficient and smart.

Flyhjælp is an ambitious and growing legal-tech company based in Copenhagen, located near Kløvermarken. Since 2021, we have been part of the German company Flightright, which strengthens our position in the Nordic market and connects us to a broader European setup.
Our team brings together colleagues from across the Nordics and other parts of Europe, and we work closely with teams in Berlin, Budapest, and Kyiv through our parent company. This creates an international working environment with both local focus and cross-market collaboration.

You’ll be part of a collaborative setup that values trust, ownership, and doing things properly - both in how we support our customers and how we work together.

What you can expect:
  • A full-time position with flexible hybrid work (2 days remote + 3 days in-office at our office at Amager)
  • Up to 5 weeks of remote work per year from anywhere in the EU
  • The opportunity to occasionally work from our Berlin office
  • A supportive and international team across Europe
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development in a growing company
